I do not know of any registry setting that will allow you to manually disable the hardware acceleration… unfortunately. Turn your computer on and immediately start pressing F8 on your keyboard repeatedly until you see a black screen with white writing that gives you a list of boot options. It still hangs on the Acer screen. Because the "downloading bar" appears, and then its just black with mouse, but when i turn off and on the PC manually after this, it's fine.

We also tried to restart with the disks and still back to blue screen. The dump files it says the data went to during the crash are missing.
